The world of boxing turns out in Sheffield to bid farewell to legendary trainer Brendan Ingle

Hundreds of mourners gathered in Sheffield today to bid a final farewell to legendary boxing coach Brendan Ingle at his funeral at Sheffield Cathedral.  The 77-year-old who famously guided Johnny Nelson, Naseem Hamed, Junior Witter and Kell Brook to world titles died at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital last month.

Suggestions have been made to create a permanent memorial for the trainer in Sheffield - Sheffield City Council have had discussions and former sports minister Richard Caborn has also backed the idea.
