Ronnie O'Sullivan - the undisputed master

Following his 10-4 victory at the Masters Snooker at Alexandra Palace last weekend which followed hot on the heels of his 6-2 semi-final victory over Stephen Maguire, Ronnie O'Sullivan is sitting comfortably on the top of the pile.

His quarter-final 6-0 win over Ricky Walden came on the back of over 500 points without reply and commentators and players alike are full of praise for his consistency and the fluidity of his shot-making.  When O'Sullivan plays snooker like this, it looks like he is playing another game. It is the same as watching Arsenal at their pass-the-ball-into-the-net best or Ali in the ring or Jack Nicklaus tearing apart a golf course.

He fully deserves all the praise for giving so much enjoyment to the watching public in the beauty of his performances.  Personally, I cannot wait to see him return to the Crucible in April.
