Things are starting to gear up now for the biggest annual sporting event in the world to hit God's own county. The route of Le Tour 2014 is officially published on Wednesday 23rd October 2013.
Unfortunately, the riders won't be visiting the seaside at sunny Scarborough, but they will get a fabulous welcome on their way from Leeds to Harrogate and then York to Sheffield.
I hope to be there near the finishing line in Sheffield and out in the wilds somewhere windswept the day before. Photos will be placed into a gallery at:
